This vintage-style magazine cover poster shows passengers in 1940s clothing standing at the rail of a ship, gazing towards the London skyline. A woman in an orange headwrap and dress stands beside a man in a brown suit and fedora, while a worn leather suitcase sits in the foreground. A lifebuoy marked Windrush hangs at the corner of the frame.
Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and a domed cathedral rise across the Thames, with steam tugboats, gulls and golden clouds set against a teal sky. The warm, textured palette of orange, cream and teal gives it a retro travel-poster feel.
A striking choice for a living room, hallway, study or gallery wall, especially for lovers of London history and mid-century illustration.
