A playful cartoon poster of a white beagle in a grey samurai kimono, sitting calmly with two swords at his back. A tiny yellow bird in matching robes sits beside him with its eyes closed. The scene is drawn in loose Japanese ink wash, with a sweeping brushstroke arcing overhead, vertical calligraphy and a small red seal on a soft cream background.
The mix of quiet zen and cartoon humour suits bedrooms, living rooms, home offices, hallways and gallery walls. It also works well with other monochrome or retro prints.
